6 Malaysia Artist/designer, 1000tentacles, Michael Chuah, Ation Tintoy, Sau Lim, Kenji Chai & Kelseyz get to showcase their artworks at "Asia Now" curated by design boom at the Dwell on Design in Los Angelas, joining with others Asia designers.

Following the success of last year's "kitc...hen ecology" exhibition, designboom and Dwell On Design are collaborating for the second time with "Asia Now", a show which will explore asia's design culture.

Asia is a treasure trove of cross-cultural interchanges and the exhibition "Asia Now" centers around rising tralent in this quickly changing environment. "Asia Now" will take you on a visual journey through inspirational, contrasting iconography and innovative design solutions of the orient.

Simple salution to a big problem

I just realized big problem not necessary yeilds a big+complicated salution. I was working on my car_paint_phen_x1 's dirt map, and all I need is a directional light to solve my problem! I spent 2 days on how to fix the darn thing >"< and one light solve ALL!! omg...ok, from now on, I'll think simple ...first...

Dpi's Animation and Comic Special Edition

My works featured in this month dpi "Animation and Comic Art Special Edition" among other artists/directors, to name a few-Satoshi Kon, Yoshitaka Amano, Lee Sung Gang and many more.

I remember watching Satoshi Kon's "Perfect Blue" movie during the screening in Singapore. I was totally blown away by his way of story telling, the way he directed it, the storylines, the characters..etc. Story wise, no hold bar, and amazing art work. 2 thumbs up even after so many years.

Will post more photos once I get hold of the mag, mean while, stay tuned!
